A concert of the Nis Church Choir Group Branko was held in Ovcar Banja. The performance took place at the Amphitheater and was organized by the Irmos Association as part of the project Chachanska Rodna, under the name “At the Crossroads”. The Nis Church Choir Group Branko was founded in 1887 and is recognized as an exceptionally professional group.

The first part of the concert was dedicated to the victims of the tragic events that occurred this year. By singing the Trisvet on the Greek language (Agios Oteos), they made a connection between the Hilandar Monastery, the City of Nis, and the Serbian Holy Mountain.

The audience had the opportunity to listen to the Second Slava, Blazhen Muzh, Cherubic Hymn, and Bogorodice Djevo, performed excellently under the baton of Sara Cincarevic.

After the spiritual music program, the choir performed some international music numbers.

For the finale, they sang the song “Niska Banja”, which is considered to be a folk song. However, it has its author, and that is Dusan, Duka, Cvetkovic. With minimal adjustments to this number, the lyrics of Niska Banja were adapted to Ovcar Banja, which greatly pleased the audience.

U okviru projekta “Čačanska rodna”, održan je koncert Niške crkvene pevačke družine “Branko”. Nastup je upriličen u Amfiteatru u Ovčar Banji, a u organizaciji Udruženja “Irmos” i pripada celini pod nazivom “Na raskršću”. Niška crkvena pevačka družina “Branko” osnovana je 1887.godine i oličenje je izuzetno profesionalne grupe. Prvi deo koncerta posvetili su nastradalima u majskim tragičnim događajima koji su se zbili ove godine. Pojanjem Trisvetog na grčkom jeziku (Agios Oteos) napravili su spoj manastira Hilandara, Grada Niša, i srpske Svete Gore. Publika je imala priliku da čuje Drugu Slavu, Blažen muž, Heruvimska pesmu, Bogorodice Djevo, u njihovom odličnom izvođenju, a pod dirigentskom palicom Sare Cincarević. Nakon duhovnog muzičkog programa, hor je izveo numere svetovne muzike. Za sam kraj su otpevali pesmu Niška Banja za koju važi mišljenje da je narodna. Međutim, ona ima svog autora, a to je Dušan, Duca, Cvetković. Uz minimalnu korekciju ove numere, reči Niške Banje su pripale Ovčar Banji, što je izuzetno obradovalo prisutne.
