Petnaesti po redu Festival etno i džez muzike “Karusel” , počeo je sinoć u Atrijumu Kulturnog centra. Izuzetno zalaganje organizatora i tvorca manifestacije, urodilo je plodom. I vreme je poslužilo, pa su Čačani zaista mogli da uživaju u vešto iskombinovanim jazz, funk, rock, world music, sa etno zvucima.

Prve večeri festivala, a “Pod istim suncem” svirali su bendovi iz Severne Makedonije i Srbije. Koncert je počeo nastupom grupe “Sethstat” iz Skoplja koju je predvodio trombonista Vladan Drobicki. Usledio je Oliver Đurković band, mlad beogradski jazz orkestar, u kome svira čačanski gitarista Kosta Jovanović.

U 22 sata, treći po redu nastupio je Vasil Hadžimanov band koji je izuzetno profesionalnom i autentičnom svirkom oduševio posetioce. Za sam kraj prve večeri festivala, nastupio je EJO koji iz godine u godinu uzrasta. “Budite ponosni na njih”, bile su reči zvezde večeri, Vasila Hadžimanova kada ih je najavio u završnici svog nastupa.

A “Karusel” nastavlja dalje. Večeras, a u Velikoj sali Kulturnog centra, na scenu izlaze Tihomir Stojiljković, klavir, uz pratnju perusioniste Andreje Krstića. Nakon njih, autorske kompozicije na harmonici, izvešće naš Čačanin Boban Bjelić, a uz pratnju Marije Đukić na klaviru, sviraće dela argentinskog kompozitora Astora Pjacole.

Open Music Festival Karusel

The fifteenth edition of the Etno and Jazz Music Festival Karusel started last night in the Atrium of the Cultural Center. The exceptional efforts of the organizers and creators of the event have paid off. And the weather was favorable, so the people of Čačak could truly enjoy the skillfully blended jazz, funk, rock, world music, with ethno sounds.

On the first night of the festival, the bands from Macedonia and Serbia performed under the same sun. The concert started with a performance by the Sethstat group from Skopje, led by trombonist Vladan Drobicki. Oliver Đurković band, a young Belgrade jazz orchestra, where the guitarist Kosta Jovanović from Čačak also plays, followed. At 10 pm, Vasil Hadžimanov band, with their exceptionally professional and authentic playing, thrilled the audience. And for the grand finale of the first night of the festival, EJO performed, a band that gets better year after year. “Be proud of them,” were the words of the star of the evening, Vasil Hadžimanov, when he introduced them at the end of his performance.

And Karusel continues. Tonight, in the Main Hall of the Cultural Center, Tihomir Stojiljković, on piano, accompanied by percussionist Andrej Krstić, will take the stage. After them, our Čačak native Boban Bjelić will perform his original compositions on the accordion, with the accompaniment of Marija Đukić on the piano, playing works by the Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla.
